About Microvascular Surgery training
The Microvascular Surgical Training Course is conducted under the aegis of the Asian Head & Neck Cancer Foundation (AHNCF), established in 2017. Since its inception, the Foundation has organized multiple academic and surgical training programs dedicated to advancing excellence in head and neck oncology and reconstruction.
Over the last two years, more than 500 free flap reconstructions have been successfully performed at Compass cancer hospital, Ahmedabad. Through structured hands-on training and mentorship, numerous surgeons have been trained in head and neck reconstructive microvascular surgery, contributing significantly to capacity building and improved patient outcomes.
